I haven't been really into makeup until now. I used to think that it's stupid, people wearing it whenever there's no occasion. Yung bang iisipin, ay ang arte naman niya. Sigurado din ako, ayun ang sinasabi niyo din ngayon. Especially if you're in high school, ehem. Being simple is how Filipinos are, that's why we're not used to it. If you'd go to America, makeup is an everyday thing for middle school girls.
If you're a neophyte, this will give you a little lending hand. Here are a couple of my favorite makeup.. stuff. Enjoy!
MAYBELLINE FALSIES MASCARA
"LOML" - All my feelings summed up for this mascara in a very internet-y way.
- It is waterproof.
I tried this and it truly IS. Many freaking + points for me because i'm an athlete, um, sweat and a swimmer too.
- It gives you falsie-like eyelashes.
SO TRUE. Like even the way it feels when it dries out. If you are going to a bonggacious event/homecoming or something, and you don't want to wear falsies, this is the one for you.
CON:
It is clumpy, what you'll expect of course for a really volumizing mascara. Some people hate it so thought i'd make it a con.
CATRICE DEFINING BLUSH 050
This is my everyday blush. I recommend it for natural glow makeup looks.
- It can serve as a highlighter at the same time.
This gives my face an extra glow and i loveeee it. I don't need to pack on more highlighter on my face.
- For me, it has the right amount of pigment.
CON:
Sometimes the color intensity is hard to get because mostly the shimmer is taken.
CONTOURING
This was a huge booster for me. If you think simple poofs of foundation powder is enough, N O. This is the most essential of the most essential. It is my favorite part in doing my makeup. I have like 2 monays and my cheekbones are failing me. It is a lifesaver, period.
A highly recommended product is the Anastasia Beverly Hills Contour Palette. You can also use a concealer 2-3 shades darker for your skin tone.
MAYBELLINE AGE REWIND CONCEALER
I can hear the angels singing for this product. Many love it. not for the age rewind purpose.
- It hides dark circles.
- It lightens up your face.
CON:
I can't think of any atm, i just love it. HBU?
NUDE-Y PINK-BROWN MATTE LIPS

Clearly, from the heading, i am really bad at describing things. I apologize.
In realization, i love being natural. Pink nude lips are my go to. The lip color i'm describing is what Kylie Jenner wears. Her lip palette consists of nude, pink and brown. I drool over those kinds, it's parfait.
